tonearm
sound
The arm is distinguished by clarity and definition in deep bass to treble region.
Caused by special bearing design bass is rock solid. Even extrem sound level doesn't destabilize sound reproduction.
Due to improvement of vibration by combination of ebony, brass and c37 violin lacquer voices are rendered magnificently,
full of emotion where applicable.
In combination with adequate pickup (like PaseTech P1) arm is able to produce a big, seamless impact without loss of naturalness.
materials:
Makassar ebony, brass, Ennemoser's violin lacquer C37 (consists of natural resin), cable: cable
construction:
12" Tonearm is made of 40 cm (15.75 inches) makassar ebony turning squares.
Core of tonearm front is made of 6 mm brass pipe (for tonearm wire).
Core of tonearm back is made of 8 mm brass rod (from tonearm end to front of brass ball).
Bearing is unipivot invers. A stainless steel spike fits in a brass countersink.
Unipivot point is located a little above centre of mass. Therefore tonearm is no pendulum.
That has the advantage that it is not easy to stimulate tonearm to vibrate.
VTA is adjustable by a fine pitch thread. Standard base fits to Linn mounting standard, other mounting standards are available.
Arm has no antiskating. Best partners are pickups with low compliance.
Wood is finished by Ennemoser C37 lacquer. Lacquer causes clarity and emotional sound like 300b set amplification.
